  6.     Thank you for your interest in NueX. Read this file before installing and running the NueX Demo.  For a more detailed description of NueX see the Help stack. After completing the installation, double-click the Demo icon to start the NueX demo.

  11. Ñ System Requirements:

  13.     You will need a Macintosh capable of running System 6.0.5 or greater with 4MB of RAM and a hard disk with 2MB of free disk space. HyperCard 2.1 is also required and is included with the NueX Demo.

  15. Ñ Before You Install:

  17.     Make a backup copy of the NueX¬ Demo Disk before proceeding with the installation.

  19. Ñ Hard disk Installation:

  21. To install the NueX Demo on your system, double click on the SEA (Self Extracting Archive) file named ╥Install NueX Demo╙.  You will be asked for a destination folder where the extracted files will be placed.  After selecting a destination folder, click on Extract. You will now have a ╥NueX Demo╙ folder in the selected destination folder.  If you do not have HyperCard 2.1, repeat the above steps with the ╥Install HyperCard 2.1╙ SEA file.

  23. IMPORTANT:  Be sure to remove any old versions of Hypercard that may be on your hard disk.

  25. Ñ Floppy disk Installation: (1.4MB)

  27.     We do not recommend running the NueX Demo on a floppy, because HyperCard accesses the disk quite frequently.  If you must, however, just be sure to have both HyperCard 2.1 and its Home stack as well as the NueX Demo folder on your floppy.  (NOTE:  800K disks are too small to hold both the NueX Demo and HyperCard.)
